Week 38 – March 20
RI CONVENTION SOUTHLAND BREAKFAST
Zones 33/34 will host the traditional Southland Breakfast on June 13 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, GA. This event is always a great way to meet other Rotarians from across Zones 33 and 34, as well as spend time with Rotary leadership. And because the breakfast is being held in Atlanta, you can be sure the grits will be cooked right! Due to space limitations at the venue, District 6970 only has 20 tickets available, please contact DG Marshall to reserve your seat. Tickets are $55/each.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: DISTRICT ASSEMBLY IS APRIL 29
On April 29, the District Assembly will be held at Flagler College in St Augustine. There will be specific sessions for club leadership as well as incoming committee members. If your club is intending to apply for a district grant you will be required to have three members attend the Grant Training.
Overall it will be a great time of fellowship and networking with fellow Rotarians. And you definitely don’t want to miss the fabulous lunch provided by the Foundation Fryers!
Only 79 days until the All Star Conference in Atlanta!
Yours in Rotary Service,
