The following awards for outstanding contributions by individual Rotarians take place on occassion of nominations and committee recommendations when appropriate. Therefore it is not automatic that any one or all of these awards will be made each year.

District Individual Award

All Star Rotarian Award


This special one-year award recognizes the efforts and achievements of District Rotarians at the All Star District Conference in association with the Rotary International Conference in Atlanta on June 9, 2017.

To qualify for the award, District Rotarians will track their activities on an easy to use scorecard that is available here and is available at the Rotary Serving Humanity Seminar on August 13 in Orange Park.

Attending the seminar will be the first step in qualifying and DG Marshall will personally initial your card for you! A copy of the scorecard will also be made available on the District 6970 website.

Purpose: This award recognizes one outstanding Rotarian with District 6970 each year whose has exhibited multiple years of service in at least two areas of Rotary’s six areas of focus with an emphasis on helping others.

Governor’s Lifetime Service-Above-Self Award

Purpose: to recognize a Rotarian in District 6970 who has demonstrated a lifetime of service above self to the community and the world.

Criteria
