We’ll we’ve made it through the hottest part of the Rotary year, here in District 6970, and dare I say, it feels like fall is just around the corner. We have many exciting things going on around the district and I hope to join many of you through this Rotary holiday season.
As you know, October 24th was World Polio Day. It’s important that we remember our number one initiative as Rotarians and together, we will soon reach the end and will be able to announce that the world is finally Polio free. Please continue to support Polio Plus through your donations and education of others.
I encourage you to watch the 4-minute video below and see how far we’ve come and how close we really are.
A World Polio Day Message from WHO Director-General and Honorary Rotarian, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Polio is at its lowest level in history! We are THIS CLOSE!
I hope to be able to see all of you at the upcoming Vibrant Club Seminar and District Conference. We have a 2:00 p.m. meeting planned for all AGs, years 1, 2, & 3. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
