Earthquake in Haiti
As many of you have heard by now, on August 14th Haiti was rocked by a massive 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake. At least 227 dead, with hundreds injured or missing in our sister district 7020. For clubs and members wishing to contribute to the relief efforts, District 7020 has set up the following website for credit card or PayPal donations. Rotary Leadership Institute has been rescheduled!
Due to recent rise in COVID-19 cases, RLI has been rescheduled to October 16th. Same location and times, as well as same classes being offered.
Insurance – One of my favorite subjects.
As Rotary leaders it is important for all of us to be familiar the U.S. Rotary club and district liability insurance program. This is the insurance program that is paid for as part of our dues structure and covers us for General Liability, Directors & Offices Coverage and Employment Practices Liability while we are doing the good Rotary work we do.

Just like a good neighbor and a good Rotarian, Jim Register is there. Jim is our District Insurance program Coordinator and will help you with any insurance questions you may regarding the program. jim.register.g2k4@
Pic of the Week!
You don’t meet too many other folks with a Rotary tattoo, so when you do, you have to take a pic. I had a great visit with the Rotary Club of Northeast Florida this week, and as it turns out, Club President Sandra Hartley is one cool Rotarian!
Have a great Rotary Week all!
