The Power of Rotary Shows Itself in District 6970

There is an update from the Rotary Club of Pursat in Cambodia about April to June 2024 developments with the Rotary Global Grant 2343143: https://sites.google.com/rotarypursat.com/gg23431432ndquarterlyreport?usp=sharing

As you may know, the Rotary Club of Gainesville started the Sustainable Cambodia effort about 20 years ago. With that club’s assistance, the Rotary Club of Pursat was formed in Cambodia to help execute the mission of providing clean drinking water and water facilities to some of the poorest sections of Cambodia.

A couple of years ago (at the RI Convention in Houston), Richard Allen (the driving force behind this effort) of Gainesville and I connected about the possibility of the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra (my club) getting involved in one of Sustainable Cambodia’s future Global Grants. Richard’s kindness led us to be placed as the lead international Rotary club in the Global Grant effort you see today.

Through Rotary, we change lives.

Past President of the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra
