The Rotary Clubs of West Volusia are partnering again to help present the United in Strength ME STRONG 5k. This one of a kind race is one of the largest 5ks in Central Florida. Over 6,000 runners and walkers pack the streets of historic Downtown DeLand all in support of the ME STRONG mission of supporting the friends, family, and individuals battling cancer through the power of friendship. The race is one of the most spirited races around. The entire route is filled with cheerleaders, bands, music and positive energy. Each runner and walker is welcomed home at the finish line and the encouragement does not stop till every racer finishes, because in the battle of cancer, no one runs alone.
